JDRS Craftsman is owned and operated by me, Daniel Ramirez. I handcraft copper plate, lumber, and other raw materials into Arts & Crafts period inspired architectural decor.
All of my products are designed and produced in my private shop located in the village of New Glarus, Wisconsin. Utilizing a variety of tools from carving chisels and hand held routers to modern computer controlled equipment, I strive to create something new and beautiful. That is the simple purpose of this shop.
Before JDRS Craftsman I was an engineer by trade with a formal education in the pure science of physics. Also having a lifelong pursuit of the arts, I have been active in furniture and decor design for 15 years. With that, I started this company as a means to express my ideas in a manner that challenges both my technical and creative sides
